Excellent result for western Qld client

​A full line of mixed sex poll dorset/merino cross lambs sired by Sovereign rams sold in July 2021 straight off their mothers at 3-4 months old.
​With only a 4% cut these lambs attracted strong competition on AuctionsPlus.
At an average weight of 27.4kg and majority fat score 2 these lambs sold for $152/hd (July 2021).

This was a very strong result and reflected the demand that can be achieved with the right product.
These lambs came from Taylor Pastoral “Boree Downs” Longreach. The Taylor’s have now purchased additional rams to increase their numbers and to take advantage of the opportunity for a quick turnaround into the first cross store lamb market. ​
