This was a very strong result and reflected the demand that can be achieved with the right product. These lambs came from Taylor Pastoral “Boree Downs” Longreach. The Taylor’s have now purchased additional rams to increase their numbers and to take advantage of the opportunity for a quick turnaround into the first cross store lamb market.

Sovereign excelled in an abbreviated 2021 show season. The Toowoomba Royal Show is the premier show for meat sheep and again Sovereign claimed Supreme all breeds ram and pair of rams. Earlier in the year Sovereign had also claimed supreme ram all breeds at two local shows. For the delayed RNA competition Sovereign exhibited the supreme ewe all breeds with a beautifully balanced ewe lamb. The inaugural RNA Dickson Ag Champion of Champions competition was also held and Sovereign 6/20 was awarded the meat sheep ram of the year.  Sovereign 6/20.
