Sovereign Poll Dorset Stud was established by Chris & Meryl Rubie as a stand-alone stud in 2010 to ensure continuity of operation and to maintain our trusted name in Queensland following the dissolving of a partnership that operated Trimac Poll Dorsets. Trimac was established in 1978 as a family partnership and together we brought Poll Dorsets to the forefront in Queensland as a breed of choice.
Under the new banner of Sovereign, now located near Warwick in Qld we have taken deliberate and determined steps to establish a very strong focus on improving carcass capacity, high growth rates and sound structure to ensure we are breeding rams that will provide the prime lamb breeder maximum return on their investment.
