 First cross lambs at weaning on Paula Dean’s “Notus Downs” property south of Longreach.  Sovereign Poll Dorsets won both the Ram and Ewe championships in the 2022 Dixon AG Qld All Breeds Champion of Champions which culminated at the Brisbane EKKA. To be eligible, entries must have won a supreme all breeds title at one of a number of selected shows on the Qld circuit, including the EKKA. The winning ram Sovereign 44/21 was sired by Sovereign 40/17. The dam sired by Valley Vista 173/16. The EKKA Champion of Champions winning ewe was Sovereign 78/21, sired by Valley Vista 173/16.  Champion of Champions Ram Sovereign 44/21 held by Emma Haupt of Calvary Christian College, with Chris Rubie Sovereign Poll Dorsets. |
